I’ve spent over 15 years in the pest control industry—most of that time with one of the largest companies in the world. I learned a lot there: how to identify and eliminate pests, how to design programs that work, how to use top-tier equipment. But I also learned what wasn’t working—what customers were asking for and not getting, and what problems were being ignored.

As a top performer, I got a behind-the-scenes look at how a giant multinational operates: putting shareholders above employees and customers, squeezing every last dollar out of every service call. That didn’t sit right with me.

So I left. I chose a different path. It turns out, this community was ready for something different—and I’m truly honoured to be part of it. I’m grateful every day for the warm welcome and trust I’ve received from the people of Williams Lake and the Cariboo.

I quietly launched Hawk Pest Control in the fall of 2024, and right away, I had local organizations reaching out to have me manage their pest programs. I’ve been floored by the response—and inspired by the strength of this community.
